My trip to Venezuela
By Elizabeth Villa Mesa
Last December, I went with my family to Venezuela,
some relatives live in this country. In this trip we were also accompanied by
my boyfriend Juan Camilo and Kelly, my brother´s girlfriend.
The trip began on December 27, and when we were at the
airport to board de plane, my brother Felipe remembered that the money that the
exchanged into Bolivares was forgotten in Kelly´s night stand. We all looked to
him and asked: Why was your money in Kelly´s night stand? And why didn´t you
bring it? Everybody, my mom, my boyfriend and I, wanted to kill my brother and
he felt very bad.
Once we were all in the plane and after an hour, my
mom decided to break the ice and talk to my brother. After this, all of us
laughed at what had happened and we decided to lend some to my brother until he
could solve his problem.
When we arrive to “Barquisimeto”, my aunt Clara helped
my brother. A friend of her had a trip from Medellin to Barquisimeto, so She
talked to Kelly´s mother and She picked up the money in her house and took it
to Venezuela.
After all, we had a great vacation. My brother could spend
all your money buying things to give to their friends. Besides, he could invite
us to dinner one night; this was a time that we really enjoyed on the trip.
