Final Project
A few years ago in December, when I was meeting with Deivid,
who was my boyfriend at this time, I had an embarrassing situation with him.
It was Saturday afternoon and I was talking on the telephone
house with Juli Lejos, one of my best friends, and Deivid called me on my cellphone
for invite me to go out a night. I said, “of course, it sounds good, I will see
you at 8:00 o´clock, and can I to invite Juli Lejos?” and David answered me
“Yes, let´s go all for us”. I said to Juli that she had to be with me at night
because she knew I was very nervous if I went out alone with Deivid.
When the night came, Deivid picked me up at my house
in his car. Then, we went to pick up Juli Lejos. She lived close to Las Vegas
Carrefour, so we decided to go to Messopaso for a few beers, while we looked at
what we could do this Saturday night. While Juli got down, we were listening to
music because Juli was very later.
Eventually, we bought many beers and we sat on the
street like on a little wall and began to talk about different things about
December, like family´s parties, presents, New Year´s Eve, trips and fireworks.
Suddenly, David was searching for pictures on his cellphone because we wanted that
Juli and I looked at some pictures of grandmother´s David because she was very
funny on December.
Then, Deivid showed us a picture, and I saw it and said
“Uy, mero muñeco de navidad”, and I began to laugh a lot, and the David´s
expression was “Why are you laughing? It´s not a big toy with fireworks, she is
my grandmother!!!!!”. Suddenly, I stopped laughing and I was very very embarrassed;
however a few minutes later I began to laugh and I said: “Deivid, I´m sorry,
but really I am ashamed… I didn´t know why I laughed”.
Deivid was very serious with me, finally Juliana said
“Deivid, please didn´t put in this way I think Manu was right, in this picture
you grandmother doesn´t seem a grandmother!” And I said, Juliana please! realized
that with a comment the things were going to be worse.
Next, Deivid stood up and went to the bathroom while
Juli and me were talking about the situation. We didn´t know how to make Deivid
happy. Really he was very angry with us. Then, he came and said: “I was
kidding, it was for making you feel ashamed”. At this moment, Juli and me was
reassured.
In conclusion, after this episode, we had a delicious
time that night.
