Another Strange Day by Manuela Cardona Henao

Yesterday, I woke up early in the morning, and I went to the bathroom. Then when I left the bathroom, my parents and my sister were waiting for me in my room with some gifts on the bed and they turned on the Diomedez Diaz´s song. Inside the gift bags was a jacket and a green bag with a lot of chocolates.

After that, I left the house and I went to take classes until 12 noon. My friends gave me many sweets and gifts. At 12 noon, I left the university and I caught the bus to go home. There, my mom and my sister were waiting for me to go together to my grandmother´s house.

I called a taxi service because it was raining. When we arrived to my grandmother´s house, I realized that I dropped my wallet in the cab. My grandmother prepared a spectacular lunch. Minutes before that, they were going to sing a birthday song  to me, but my phone rang, and I received a call on my cell phone from a woman who told me that she found my wallet. She told me that we meet. At 4pm a friend accompany me to claim the wallet, and the woman who called me to give me the wallet looked like a man and she made us extremely confused. Her name is Alejandra. Then we went walking to my grandmother´s house when we all sang me a birthday song.

My day ended well. I was walking to my house and on the way I went to a friend´s house to say hello. When I got home, I read many documents because the next day I had final exams in the university.

CATTLE'S RUN - JUAN PABLO CASTAÑEDA

One time, I was on a school trip. It was on a big ranch with swimming pool, horses, some birds, cows, and bulls.

I was goofing with some friends when we arrived. Later, when we were swimming, one of them said, “Let’s walk around to check the zone!”

We accepted and followed him.  We were walking for around 15 minutes and my friend took a big branch maybe because he was worried about two guys we saw. We found a burn grass road trough trees and high grass at sides, and we thought for a moment and finally we decided to follow it.  Halfway we were looking for something interesting like snakes, scorpions, or even fruits; but we just found some hills to “climb”. Then we just started to “climb”

Almost 30 minutes later, we arrived to a paved road. In the other side of that road, we saw a bull looking at us while we were totally quiet. A friend said. “We need to go away but don’t run.” Then we run away and the bull just followed us. I fell at the left side on the high grass and the bull just continued. Thanks to God anyone ended hurt but actually it was a very scary experience.

The worst part definitely was that we didn't found the way to get back, and we had to walk without destiny.

We arrived to a big kind of yard while we were walking and that place was full of cattle. We felt the worst fear but we saw the pool around half a mile away and immediately we turned back and “climbed” again. In the way we saw the two guys again but they were just 2 employees  who said us how to return to the swimming pool.

Last month, I was bringing my daughter to her house, when I was coming in the Vegas street my car broke down and I was in the mid of Street. I went to call the insurance company but the cellphone wasn’t charged, I look for the charger but I didn’t find it. I stayed for a three hour.

Finally came a traffic agent but his solution was bring my car to the transit, that solution was very bad, because I couldn’t pay for many expenses and I didn’t have it all weekend. I didn’t know to do. I was tell him that I had insurance company but I didn’t have to call.

Then I saw an old friend and I shouted his name, he asked me “what did you happen?”, I explained the situation and I asked for his cellphone while he lent me it, I called the insurance company. While came insurance company I was talking with my friend, we remember old things, after he invited me for the friends party and I went with him it and the bad moment change a good experience.

MY FUN TRIP TO THE COFFEE REGIÓN OF COLOMBIA

In my last vacations I had really wanted to visit the coffee región of Colombia, then I made plans with my wife and a couple of friends to go for a walk. I want to share my experience because it was fun and I visited many spectacular places.

We leave the City Friday at midday, but there was heavy traffic in the city, then that delayed us a long journey. The idea was to arrive Friday to Manizales, know the city and sleep there. The next day we went to a place well knew in the coffee region called thermal “Santa Rosa de Cabal”, there you can enjoy spectacular thermal pools and a waterfall of cool clear water to cool off after the thermal bath.  At that moment, the world cup was taking place and Colombia and Uruguay were playing a match; it was fun to watch the game in this place because there were many people and the atmosphere was very lively and cheerful and as Colombia won the party was much better.

When we leave the thermal and the end of the afternoon we went to visit another town in the coffee región called Filandia, a small beautiful town coffee for its architecture and the kindness of the people, we had dinner there and enjoyed the evening.

The next day we went to visit another very touristy place called “Parque del Café” in Armenia, it´s a place for all tourists who visit the coffee region. In this park there are many games and there is also a very nice museum coffee where the whole process of coffee cultivation and production is explained.

After visiting the “Parque del Café” we had just a day's ride, which we would like to know the town of Salento, which is very knew for its handicrafts and the typical food of the village that is trout and fried plantain.

It was a very fun ride because we visited many special places and keep many beautiful memories of each place we visited.

My travel from Colombia to Brazil with my big sister by Manuela Mesa

My travel began one day on January, while we stayed on the airport 2 hours for the flight. When we finally arrived to Brazil, we did one row for 1 hours almost; but finally stayed in BRAZIL.

In that travel happened many things, memories we never forgot. One day, we went from Rio de Janeiro to Ilha Grande. I only had in my bag, a bathing suit, sandals, a towel, tothpaste, a toothbrush and my sunglasses, only these for 3 days. 

The first day, we ate in a little restaurant from the place, while around for us to walked people from all word. The second day, we traveled in a boat around the island; I sat in the boat with my sister, while I was seeing the beautiful Brazilian island. When I was in the beach, My sister was swimming in the sea with other peoples. The third day, me and Laura walked in the island, when one Chile couple approached us for talk.

That day we returned to Rio de Janeiro, after 3 days of pure happiness. 

In that days, coming the carnival of Rio de Janeiro, for this all citizens prepared your lives because the carnival is soon.  Laura and I went to Sambodromo for pre-carnival with  Brazilian people, while the middle of Sambodromo the magic happened; front of us the parade passed. The Brazilian people in this place were very friendly with us, share the beer and everything with the Colombian girl.

Many years ago I went to Dabeiba to my cousins' place to take a vacation. I was waiting for this moment to share with them. I was very happy because I was enjoying with my cousins once again. My cousin Mary and I got to the mountains where our uncle Darío lives when we saw a large, brown serpent that was crossing the way. Mary was very calm while I was very nervous because I never saw a serpent like it. After that, we arrived where our uncle lives and we were very happy staying with him. We talked about the past while we were eating a delicious lunch. My uncle showed me some photos while we were walking around the mountains. Next, we played cards while we were drinking some beers. We were very happy. We laughed and sang all the time. That night, we went to bed late. The following day, we had breakfast while we were planning to go to the river. Then we went to the river. There, people were sharing in family. They were bathing and playing in the water. We were enjoying the landscape and other things. After that, we cooked the lunch while the sun was shining. That day was wonderful because it is difficult do these kind of things in the city. After that, Mary and I returned to her home. When I was watching the news, Leo my cousin, invited me to drink liquor. I didn´t want to, when I saw a beautiful girl with him, so I decided to go out with them. We drank so much during all the night. Also, we danced while we were talking about love. Then I met a special girl. Her name is Margarita. She told me about her family, job, education, experiences while I was listening. Next, we promised to go to eat another day. So, I drank so much that night, and then I lost some money for this reason. This vacation was unforgettable because I met another person and I had many experiences. At this moment Margarita and I go out every weekend. She is a good friend.      

My vacation around Peru. By Johnny Cadavid

In December of 2013 I was traveling around Peru.  It is a wonderful destination! My trip was during 10 days. I took the airplane the first of December. In that day arrived to Cuzco. Peru  has a  great gastronomic, especially  seafood. I was in Cuzco during three days. Here I drunk Pisco, the traditional drink of the country, Pisco is kind of Peruvian  “aguardiente” and I ate “ceviche”, the most popular dish in Cuzco. 

Three days later I arrived to Machu Picchu. Peru had many places to visit, but the most visited is Machu Picchu because It is the oldest Inca city from Peru. When I went to Machu Picchu I arrived in cableway, also you can go walking but is more slow and more expensive.

In Machu Picchu you can do different things. You can go to walking and you can take pictures to remember the trip and you can see many Inca sculptures, this activity is a favorite of tourists because the ancient empire Inca was characterized by the beautiful architecture of its cities. 

When I was in the summit of Machu Picchu, I wanted smoke a joint but a security guardian look at me and  told me to turn it off. These days I met Tamaloe, she is from Germany. Tamaloe was with me when the security guardian call me attention then I was three days whith her. We Ate and drank together, I preferred to seafood while she ate vegetables because she is vegetarian. We enjoyed drinking together, in Machu Picchu I got a great friend.

Tamaloe came back whit me  to Cuzco, we spent three days at the home of my friend Julian, he is tattooist and  sometimes he travel´s  to Medellin to work.  Cuzco is one of the capital cities of Peru, here we walked at night but was better ride in bike. In general this travel was quiet and my Tamaloe  return to her country and me came back  to Medellin.

My family and I Have the custom of every January go on a trip. In January of 2011 we planned a trip to Coveñas for eight days. We were going to Coveñas on January 7^th. We enjoyed our trip, but we worried because my grandpa was very sick at Clinic of Rosario. In the morning my family and I walked around the beach. Then we swam and tanned. Next, we had lunch and then we spent time in the beach while I enjoyed with my family. I met new friends, and they were from Medellin. After that I talked so much with my new friends. They invited to me to spent time in the beach while we stayed in Coveñas. My aunt called to my mother on fourth day to said: he each day was worse. My family and I worried a lot for my grandpa, and we decided came back to Medellin. The same day that we arrived. We took the suitcase to my house, and we went to the hospital. We cried so much when we look him. Around 7:30 pm we said good-bye to him, and my uncle, my aunt, and my mother stayed with my grandpa that night. The next morning I woke up alone in my home, because my sister slept in my grandparent´s house, and my dad woke up early to the job. Then, my mother called me to said that my grandpa was better. At noon my mother came home and told me that He died. I cried for three days because I loved him so much. He was the best man ever. We prayed for him for that week, and every Sunday we visit his grave.

Terrible vacation - Julian Eduardo Chaverra Betancur

Terrible vacation.

On my last vacation I had bad days. The first day, I was on the line for check my ticket, when the airline staff asked me to passport I didn´t found it. I was so worried. I was unpacking the suitcase to search the passport when I remembered that the passport was in my back pocket. I felt so stupid. The same day I was walking to the airplane when I tripped with an extinguisher that generated a sound that made that the people turned to see what happened.

 Other day, I was resting in the beach and decided go to the water. I was walking to water when the soles of my feet warm and I had to run to the water. Some people looked me and they laughed.

The same week, I was seeing some animals in a park and I decided feed some ducks. I was throwing popcorn and I was so close that a ducks bit me and they took me the popcorn. Some tourist that were with me shouted and ran when they saw the ducks attack me. After that, all people made some jokes about it and I didn´t enjoy it.  I hate that day.

The last day of vacation was the worse day. I was walking and buying in a Mall. I had thirst and bought a coke when I opened it the coke spilled in my white shirt. After that I came to a shop and was selecting some presents and when I was going to the cashier I dropped a cup of glass. All people looked me. I was so embarrassed. After, when I was to pay the presents my credit cards were rejected. I needed return some presents and paid with a little cash and some coins. When I was going out to the shop I tripped with stair and fell down and I almost broke my right arm.

Three years ago I went to a trip to South America for my 15^th birthday. I went to Santiago de Chile, Viña del mar, Isla Negra, Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Iguazú, and Rio de janeiro. I went with a couple friends we had so much fun traveling that part of the world. One of my favorite parts of the trip was going to Pablo Neruda´s house in Isla Negra besides the cold weather it was such a cool experience. I was so excited to have the chance to meet the place where he spent the most part of his life. On the way the flight was so calm and nice. I spent almost all the time sleeping, but when we were coming back we took a plane at night from Rio de Janeiro to Bogota. During the flight there were a lot of turbulence, and flights usually don’t scares me, but in that moment I was a little bit scared. Till stewardess was distributing the food the plane started to lose altitude. I was between two of my friends and one of them began to cry. I don’t even knew what to do. I was shaking and so scared. At the end we had to do an emergency stop in Peru. In Lima´s airport. We all got off the plane and wait there like one hour and a half. I was very bored and tired. We all were sitting in a waiting room till other people were fixing the plane. Then we all went up the plane again. This time the flight was calmer, and finally we came back to Colombia. I was so happy to be back but at the same time I was sad because the trip had ended.

In December 2011I went to Boyacá with some friends of mine. We stayed in a farm in front of Tota´s lake. We were so happy cause We were in a special, romantic and natural  place. The first day, we did a small party: we did a barbecue, we danced and we did drinking a little.

From then on second day, we spent time together  doing things such as cleaning the house, preparing the breakfast, cooking the lunch, playing Boggle, among others.  But in some moments, everybody did things alone such as painting, walking, dancing, reading, in according with the personal taste.

One day, my friends left to walk around the lake, and I stayed in the house listening to music and painting. I was listening Sting, exactly Fragile, maybe my favorite Sting´s song. It´s a beauty and sweet song. In this moment, came into a huge dragonfly. I got frightened when I saw It, while It flew around the living-room. But in a moment, It stopped on the window.  Then I Looked the dragonfly. I observed her body, her iridescents wings, and her shiny ayes. Meanwhile, She looked at me (well, I thought that It looked at me). The dragonfly´s eyes met with my eyes. I was astonishment. This was a strange moment. I won´t forget it. I felt like intro a fairy tale, in which I have a meeting with a fantastic creature. This moment was like a movie. The soundtrack of my story was Sting, with his slight guitar and his “on and on the rain will fall like tears from star, like tears from star. On and on the rain will say How fragile we are, how fragile we are”. In that way the dragonfly and I remained a little time (2 minutes more or less). Later, the dragonfly went, and I stayed alone in the living-room. I continued painting with feeling of I had been a magic meeting.  

My Vacation- PAOLA ROLDAN AGUDELO

Two years ago I wen on vacation on a Caribbean cruise with my family, my mother, my father and my brother. We left from Cartagena to Bonaire Curacao and Aruba.

On the first day, we sailed and performed activities inside the ship. I went to the pool with my brother and we ate snacks and drunk sodas. Then in te evening we attended the dinner in the main restaurant, and the we went to a party with the captain of the ship. He was dressed in white. In this party we danced sang and did activities.

The next day we arrived to Bonaire. We chose to get a tour to get to meet the island. We went to visit the most historical places. We visited a place where we tried loquor made of cactus and we saw the old houses used by slaves, finally we went to the beach where we could enjoy the sea and buy some typical things of the isalnd. At night we returned to the ship and went to enjoy a play after dinner

The following day, we arrived at curacao. This island was my favorite on the course because, it is very beautiful and the people are very friendly. Also, we took a tour of the island, we ate typical food of the region. We took lots pictures and went to the beach. Here takes the sun the sodas and swan in the sea. At night on the ship again we went to dinner and attend to  a party.

The next day we arrived at Aruba. Here we went shopping, bought clothes, perfumes, glasses, typical things of the island, and other things. We walked along the island.

The next day we sailed alone and attend activities on the ship like watching circus act and pool.

After a whole day of sailing we arrived in Panama here most people down. We stayed inside the ship sunbathing and taking cocktails. At night we returned to navigate. It was terrible back to Cartagena because the ship moved a lot and caused me dizziness, and I could not get out of bed to go to dinner.

The next day we arrived at our destination and the holidays are over.

MY last vacation

On my last vacations, I went to Cartagena, it was in December for Christmas. I was enjoying with my family and having fun with my friends.

We went to beach three days, there we played frisby and surf, and also we ate typical food of Cartagena, for example: fish, shrimp, patacón, coconut water. The weather was very hot in Cartagena. And we saw the sunset.

Wherever place you go in Cartagena is very beautiful. The last December I went to the old city. We walked around the city in the night. Then, I visited good restaurants, discos bar and other places that I enjoyed with my family.

Also I went to Barranquilla, it's a city two hours from Cartagena. I was buying presents and gifts for my friends and family. Then I visited good stores.

I went to the Island around of Cartagena. We visited El Rosario Island for one day, then we saw many dolphins and beautiful whales.

In Cartagena people can do many things, you can take a boat at night. Also you can fly kite in the afternoon in the walls. I was doing exercise in the morning on the beach every day for two hours.

After that one month, I came back to Medellin by airplane with my brother. Because I had to work  the next day.

MY LAST VACATION

In my last vacation. I went to Margarita Islands. I will never forget this travel.

 My boyfriend and I decided to visit my family in Venezuela .He works in Brussels and we planned to see each other in Venezuela.  

My travel started in Medellin. I bought an airplane ticket to travel from Medellin to Cucuta. from there. I took a taxi to cross the border. I was very nervous because the situation is tense in Venezuela .Police checked my suitcase and all my personal stuff. 

When I arrived to Caracas My family and my boyfriend were waiting for me  in the airport and the following day, we went to the Margarita Island .The hotel where we stayed is very nice and close to the beach , but its was dangerous  to go out  at night.

We visited interesting places and we tried different kinds of food which wassimilar to Colombian food.

Venezuela is a rich Country. People could fill up their cars for $ 300 Colombian pesos and they pay $ 500 Colombianpesosfor natural Gas to use at home and for their cars.

When we came back to Caracas, we visited touristic places such as Bolivar’sHouse where we learned about his life. We also visited museums, parks, andrestaurants.

We took  thesubway to get to different places because the price was very cheap .It was $ 50 Colombian pesos.

The cleaning products are very cheap. My boyfriend tookadvantage of it. He bought twenty-fourth toothpastesand he pay $ 200 Colombianpesos for each. Webought sunscreem, skin cream and pills.

We went to the airport to buy our return tickets because we wanted to go back toColombia. It was not easy to find tickets  online .We were for 4 hours in the airport  to try to buy airline tickets, but we received   bad news  the  airlines didn't have  any tickets   to Colombia .I was very nervous because I could not spent  any more time in Venezuela. Then we decided to buy a flight to Maracaibo.  From there, we took a taxi to cross the border butits wasn't a good idea because Venezuela police stopped the taxi about 2o times. They checked the suitcase and they smelled the clothes and shoes to see if they werenew or old and sometime police took things people bought in Venezuela.

The road between Maracaibo and Colombiawas very long and I was very nervous on one occasion when Police tookmy boyfriend's passport .They kept us fora long time and they asked us many questions. In the last Police station theytookmy boyfriend out of the taxi and they kept him for 2 hours inside the policestation .I was waiting for him inside the taxi surroundedby many police. This was the worst experience for mein this holiday.After that, we arrived to Maicao.  From there we took a Bus to Barranquilla. We visited my family for a day  and the following day, we cameback to Medellin

On my last summer vacations, i went to Cartagena with my mother.We bought our airplains tickets on internet, they were not expensive. We stayed for one week at the cartagena plaza's hotel in Bocagrande. The first day we make a travel around the city on a tourist bus. Later, we chose a taxi driver as our city guide. He take us to the most importante places of the city as: El cerro de la popa, El castillo de San Felipe, Zapatos viejos and among others.The sea food is one od my favorite foods, so i was really excited because i eat all kind of plates like fish, coco rice, craps, snacks, etc...

You can ate and drink whatever you want, that was my favorite part of the travel.

I enjoy the black woman massagges on the beach drinking beer, then i drove a jet ski.

On the second day we meet with a friends in bocagrande. they were on their honeymoon on the same hotel. I was spike by a jellyfish and it was really painfully, but that did not stop me. I really had a great time on the Cartagena Beachs. On the third day we travel to Baru's islands, the sand was really diferent, clean and white compare to cartagena beachs. I buy a few collars, chocolates, and presents for my cousins, my grandmother and my uncles. Cartagena has a great history. We get our independence from Spain in that beautiful city. When i was a child  i went to cartagena, but this time i was more consicious, so i learn about the history of the city and his people. On the last day we had a bad experience. We were late for our flight, so we took a taxi and the fisrts words that my mom says to the taxi driver was: Sir, please to the airport quiquly !!!, and he take inmediatly the fastest route to the airport, and when we finally get to the airport, our flight was two hours late, and we were like: oh my god!.Thats all!.

My last vacation in Santa Marta

In my last vacation, I went to Santa Marta with my friends Victoria and Andres. Victoria packed coke, sandwiches, cookies and water for the trip. We stayed for about 10 days.  There We went diving, and ate lots of the local food like fish prepared in all ways and typical juices.. The trip was fun. Victoria and I drove for eleven hours. In the highway we stopped for lunch, and while we were eating we saw the beautiful sunset. Andres took some photographs while Victoria and I saw the sky and the horizon. Then We stopped again, because two trucks were competing, and the drivers were driving too fast. We felt scared. So We waited and I decided to play some Electronic music on the radio in the meantime. When We arrived in Santa Marta, Victoria immediately called Mr. Gino who is our diving instructor. That night we ate with him, and Victoria talked about our plans for next days. Monday in the morning we went to walk on the beach. Then We went to Tairona, where   there are beautiful beaches. We went diving in Punta Aguja. I saw beautiful fish and seahorse. In the afternoon Andres and I did an immersion from 60 to 90 feet of depth while Victoria took photographs with Mr. Gino. But that moment, when Andres and I did that depth test, the tide of the sea increased, it was so strong. I felt a pain in my head and I thought that I could die. It was the only time I had control of myself like never before. Then I asked for help and He took my hand and we began to climb, and we were swimming for many minutes until We could get to a small beach.

This trip was wonderful, because I went diving and I love it. We were diving in the morning, in the afternoon and at night; but every night we saw the starts with the moon. Victoria and I took coffee, and Andres ate delicious snacks and prayed.

I love diving at night, because, when I saw the fish sleep I died of tenderness.

Diving is another world I would like to do it all the time.

Amazonas Travel by Lina Mejia

When my boyfriend and I planned that trip, we wanted to know a different place to stay on vacations, I mean different to the beach.

Before the trip, We called our travel agent to find out the cheap flights, Well She spoke us about a promotion towards Leticia with Decameron,  that sounded great!.

My adventure began on june 18^th, that day when I was packing my bags, my mom advised me: "You should take some insect repellent, and don´t forget to pack a first aid kit, Lina please pay me attention!. Remeber you´re going to go to the jungle".

We arrived to Leticia and while we were going to Decameron´s Hotel in Leticia, We heard birds singing around, we were surprised, and my boyfriend asked the driver about it, so He told us that every day,  hundreds of Parrots come to the "Parque Santander" from the Jungle to protect themselves to depredators.

When we arrived at the Hotel, first we changed our clothes, next,  we had dinner and then we tried to do some traditional Brasil dancing (Zamba) together the dancers inside the Hotel.

The next morning, we visited the Monkeys Island, where we saw lots of "Titi" monkeys, and we fed them with bananas. We took some excellent photographs; next, We went to Puerto Nariño while we were walking for 2 hours, The Guide talked about native people customs.

We took lunch there and while we were eating, I remembered to call my mom, but my cell phone was downloaded, So I Asked my boyfriend: "Do you mind if I use your cell phone?" My boyfriend answered me: "No, go ahead", and I  can speak with my mom.

Back to Leticia over Amazonas river We found at about 10 pink dolphins,

I didn´t find my camera in my bag, So when I said it my boyfriend, He looked for all the boat and He saw the camera near the guide, so my boyfried asked Him: Guide, Would you mind giving me that camera? The Guide answered: which one?, The black one, said my boyfriend. My boyfriend scolded me telling me: pay attention where do you keep your things!.

On fourth day, we sail inside the large roots, and we got close to frogs, snakes, and cocodriles. It was amazing.

Next day in “Tabatinga” city from Brasil near Leticia, we bought their tipical liquor " cachaza" to share with our friends and parents in Colombia.

On day six,  we made the long journey home, We were tired. Amazonas was an Amazing experience to travel.

My last vacations…

On my last vacations I was in Cartagena de Indias.There we got to the hotel, the stuff we said that if we want some rooms, but we just said that one. We was resting in that beds because we got at 10:00 pm. The other day we ate a breakfast and we went out to the beach and swimming in the sea, later we ate a big lunch: fish, rice with coconut and patacon. At evening we was walking on the street San Martin when we saw a beautiful car with a color black and we continue walking until get to the other late the neighborhood, finally the day we was in the “ciudad amurallada” where we was eating in a open place, the environment was excellent because the tables was in the street, was a good experience. An after day we went out to “narco bollo” is like a restaurant but only for breakfast was a great restaurant, so, later we was in the castle of San Felipe with the tour guide and ending the path we went down ahead, because there was a Monument of shoes, that was a big shoe for the independence of Cartagena.

We found a lot of restaurants around the city and many tourist as Germans, Argentines and Spain people, we have had a good week in Cartagena, with goods experiences, news sites in the city and beautiful people, very kind.

In the last day of my vacation we was in the “San andresito” there, I was buying a clock when long after the clock damaged, was very sad for me, because the clock was a beautiful, but don’t worry, was no problem for me. Finally when we got to Rio Negro we went to “J&C delicias” and the food was delicious like the name of restaurant then we walk a few minutes around the airport and finally we took a taxi and got to Medellin with the baggage full with candies and clothes.

When I was 12, My family and I went to Armenia to visited ours relatives, we needed to go to get a food for the trip. I don´t remembre how much time we were in Armenia, I guess we were for a couple wees.
When I was in Armenia, I watched TV and my mom told me that I came to kitchen for a water glass to her. My grandfather was cooking and I wanted to scare him. He had hot pot on the floor. 

I was knell and a I burned with the hot pot. I was crying and my mom came to me to hospital. The Doctor cleaned the wound and put cream for pain .

My last vacation

During my last vacation in January of 2013, I traveled to United States. I prepared myself for this trip because I traveled there during winter time. I planned this trip to share time with my brother and his family who live in the United States. My brother suggested for me to bring warm clothing since winter could be extremely cold. He told me that I could not forget about taking a photo camera and a good jacket for this trip. I had also have to go shopping for a suitcase and winter clothes in order to be well prepared. I searched online to organize my trip schedule, checked the weather and find interesting places to visit. I enjoyed my trip so much because I got to see many beautiful places; however, the most valuable experience I remember was when I went skiing with my family. Skiing seemed easy just watching it but it was not. Although, the adrenaline and the excitement practicing sky was priceless. I remember watching from the sky shelter, many people having fun while they were skiing. When my family started to ski, they were doing it well and seemed not having any issues. Yet, the fun came when I tried to go down the ski track. At that time, I understood that skiing is not as easy as I thought, specially for a beginner like me. I remembered falling all the way down in the track. My clothes were wet and full of snow after I was able to get to the bottom of the hill. Despite falling many times and ending up with sore hands, arms, back, legs and feet, I enjoyed a lot the experience and I want to repeat it a thousand times. Of course, I also enjoyed it by knowing that my family was having fun and was laughing at me every time I fell.
